History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it
