Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Umpen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Umpen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears tattered old clothes. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are black.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to work out more often

Description: Standing 4'3", this man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with green colored cloaks and clothing. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Dworic was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
