History: Tod hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Tod has worked very hard to control his curse. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Tod never married again. History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Veit fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Shamash was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shamash's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shamash and his spouse have recently divorced.
