Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Shadow hails from a village terrorized by illithids. After coming to the age of reason, Shadow took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to illithids.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dabbledob embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. Dabbledob enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Gunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
