Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. A true patriot, River would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the north were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Umpen has worked very hard to control his curse. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Everard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Human compassion; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
