History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Ortegar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
