When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Map Maker job and began his own company from there.

History: Born in the east to a Bricklayer, Barakas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.
