History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ombul fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Kairon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Roofer.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to be a sage again

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need.
