History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Modean grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Barber profession.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He's also a talented Barber, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This tall, slender man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ralf is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Personality: Three is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Three took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
