History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Carter mother left him crippled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sailor.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair is short and blonde. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shepherd born in the past three hundred years. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a bowyer again
