History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants revenge against orcs

Personality: Efferil is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Efferil was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Efferil's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
