Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To be a Shepherd again; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Rurik was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Unemployed. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
