History: Krimmon hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
