Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Umpen isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Umpen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Eberk was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
