History: Howard hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fortune-teller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shipwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shipwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Dabbledob never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
