During his travels, Azaki and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Azaki discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Azaki fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
