History: Leucis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Leucis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Baern was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
