He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ahrim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adrik never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
