History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Simon took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
