History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Engraver, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Engraver. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
