History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gerald's homeland. Gerald decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
