History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dragonborn artifacts is his passion; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Born to a Sellsword, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: This slender man stands about 6'4". He wears a yellow coat over a red low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. His red crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Being a Locksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dragonborn people; and he is unsatisfied with his job
