Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. A true patriot, Balam would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His ears are large.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is greedy

Description: The light-skinned man stands 3'8" and sports violet clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Frouse was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Frouse liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Laucian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Laucian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Naal isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Naal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
