He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Igden embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Igden grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
