History: Direcris lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Direcris took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Interpreter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gilthur was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
