History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Igden was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and revenge

History: Mantus was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Mantus was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He struck the Barber job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
