The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Farmer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Valafar hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Valafar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
