History: He comes from a rich western family. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Naill alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born to a Assassin, his father struggled to pay the bills. Arannis was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stableman. He has achieved small success as a Stableman.
