History: The child of a Herbalist, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. Varis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and retire the richest man in the south
