History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Glassblower but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
