History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Theren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Corkitron was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Simon was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. History: Boddynock hails from a village terrorized by drow. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
