History: He got into the Courier business at a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'9" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a tan costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fragrant embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Fragrant is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Damakos studied abroad. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
