History: Mantus hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

Description: 4'0" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Bucklal took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He tends to his Miller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
