History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Gerard was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Laborer. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
