History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Paelias was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Paelias's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
