History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Dagger abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Born in the east to a Knight, Shadow learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Knight.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born in the west to a Bricklayer, Fenriz learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Baker, but he got bored and became a Bricklayer. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.
