Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
