He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
