Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Igden embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears grey trousers with red and green striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. He is baby faced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Ar-Beka was born with his father's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ar-Beka grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ar-Beka. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Detective, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a grey costume with the symbols of strength on his torso. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Anselm is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and many dire rats want him driven away
