When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Knight father left him crippled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
