History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Oloric was taken on many hunting expeditions. Oloric was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Oloric decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
