History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rolen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: Barendd hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Barendd was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
