Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Cartwright business.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Faran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and money/treasure

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His brass crest is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are red.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shamash grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Shamash abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
