Description: A man of a pale complexion, he usually wears his black robe and has his nunchaku always slung over his shoulder. His dark red hair is singed and shortened. His silver eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Balam was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Tharivol does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Tharivol hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Tharivol was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. A true patriot, Jade would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the west to a Fortune-teller, Jade learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now owns his own business.
