Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and a deep hatred of brigands

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Gifted from a young age, Veit studied abroad. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Elaim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Elaim began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Diggory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Diggory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
