A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vassago fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and wants to open a new tavern
