Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in a small desert village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Malmûg took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Halimath is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Halimath was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Purban was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Purban decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Tethren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
