History: Born in the east to a Knight, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
