History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. After coming to the age of reason, John took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has worked as a Performer like his father before him.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Rurik and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rurik discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rurik fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
