History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is wearing a long, blue, dusty cloak. His golden hair is smooth and relatively long. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Shipwright and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Gifted from a young age, Anverth studied abroad. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: 6'2" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. This white eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: The child of a Servant, who enjoyed hunting, Cressel was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Cressel took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
